  • [Feb26] Member representing the Industry in the Jury for the "Specialist" title (equivalent to PhD) do Luis Falcão, professor at ISEL.
  • [Mar02] Attended community event "Chatting with ReactJS : An introduction to the ReactJS library" at MainHub in Lisbon.
  • [Mar15] Started 5 week edX online Course "ColumbiaX: DS103x Enabling Technologies for Data Science and Analytics: The Internet of Things".
  • [Mar15] Watched Microsoft's webcast "Puppet on Azure, better together".
  • [Mar15] Attended community event "Node.js - javascript everywhere" at MainHub in Lisbon.
  • [Mar16] Watched online event "Iasa March eSummit - Big Data/Information Architecture" organized by IASA.
  • [Mar19] Attended NetPonto community event with sessions "Creating a Rocking Development Environment in 60 Minutes with Microsoft Team Services and Azure" and "Relax, it's SPA time" at Microsoft in Lisbon.
  • [Mar20] Concluded edX online course "The Science of Everyday Thinking" by University of Queensland in Australia. Final grade 91%.
  • [Mar26] Delivered session at the AzurePT community event titled "Azure Service Fabric Overview" at Microsoft in Lisbon. Slides are available on Slideshare.
  • [Apr02] Attended Genuino Day 2016 Lisboa, "A Free Independent Arduino event", focused on Arduino/makers/IoT at Microsoft in Lisbon.
  • [Apr06] Attended Microsoft Portugal's "Ativar Portugal" startup event, with the presence of the portuguese President (and organized by my dear friend Luis Calado).
  • [Apr12] Concluded edX online Course "ColumbiaX: DS103x Enabling Technologies for Data Science and Analytics: The Internet of Things", final grade 97%.
  • [Apr12] Attended SQLPort community event: "LXXXI Encontro da Comunidade SQLPort", with sessions "Initiation to Analysis Services" and "Azure IoT Suite for DBAs".
  • [Apr16] Helped organize Global Azure Bootcamp Lisboa. Also delivered a presentation: "Azure Service Fabric: Microservices done right", and was responsible for the first Azure Architecture Design Lab Competition ("Architecture Kata"), where a set of participants had to design and present an adequate software architecture to fit a customer scenario.
  • [May9] Joined Microsoft UK as a Cloud Solution Architect at EPG/STU.
  • [May15] Successfully concluded exam 70-532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions (simpler than 70-534, but not a simple exam).
  • [May16-21] Attended intensive Azure Onboarding Bootcamp in Bellevue, WA.
  • [May23] Attended UK Integration User Group webcast, "IoT – Helping organisations create new business models".
